Consecutive Interpretation Services

Consecutive interpretation (CI) usually occurs in smaller settings such as court hearings, interviews, conference calls, factory visits or business meetings.

Different from simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpreters render the translation after the source speaker has concluded the speech or between pauses. Our consecutive interpretation experts are periodically trained to deliver accurate and meticulous interpretation while preserving the technical jargon and semantics of the source content.

We have been regular providers of community interpretation (a form of consecutive interpretation), both on-site and remotely, for nearly all NGOs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, since 2014 (the bulk of the projects having been mostly constituted of refugee-related events).

Several embassies consistently make use of our CI services for occasions such as visa application interview processes. We also provide liaison interpretation services, which is a relatively informal form of CI where the interpreter accompanies a delegation or individual in order to bridge communication gaps with their interpreting skills wherever required.
